Saya mengucapkan syabas kepada semua ahli-ahli kelana yang berjaya.
Saya meminta semua kelana dapat bekerjasama antara satu kumpulan untuk mencapai matlamat kelana di daerah sentul.

Saya meminta pengerusi membuat satu organisasi majlis kelana untuk dibentangkan kepada semua.

Saya menjemput semua kelana di zon sentul berhubung dengan majlis atau facebook zon sentul untuk berdaftar supaya kita dapat menghubungi dengan mudah.

Saya juga ingin maklumat bahawa satu perjumpaan uuntuk semua pengakap kelana di daerah sentul diadakan secepat mungkin. Perjumpaan ini untuk mengenali antara satu sama lain dan mengadakan sedikit pertandingan mesra antara kumpulan serta mengatur rancangan bagi tahun 2010 dan 2011.

Terbuka kepada pengakap di Zon Sentul

Kami telah mulakan king scout training program untuk ahli-ahli Pengakap Remaja berumur antara >16 hingga <18. Peluang diberi untuk pengakap yang mempunyai semangat yang tinggi dan telah melepasi usaha atau maju.

Tarikh : bermula dari 5hb Disember 2009 - 2010.

Masa : 9.00 pagi - 3.00 petang.

Tempat : Sek Taman Bukit Maluri, Kepong, KL

Percuma untuk latihan.
Peserta perlu uruskan makanan sendiri.

Activiti / Program yang telah berakhir :

Fungsi-fungsi parlimen, fungsi agensi kerajaan, lambang negara dan negeri, bendera malaysia dan negeri, Cara-cara menyediakan buku log serta pengenalan untuk mencapai king scout.

11 - 12/12/09 -
Pionering (5 hingga 6 jenis) serta Backwood Cooking.

19 - 21/12/09
Untuk sementara waktu tumpuan diberi kepada perkhemahan dan ungun api di SMK kepong Baru. (aktiviti sukan dan kemahiran akan dipelajari)

Satu Expedisi yang disertai seramai 39 peserta pengakap remaja dari pengakap daerah sentul.

Salah Satu pasukan yang berada di atas pucak gunung nuang.

Ahli-ahli pengakap dan guru diatas puncak gunung nuang dan sebahagian daripada ahli yang berjaya menaiki gunung nuang dengan sijil.



Semasa ekspidisi mendaki - Ahli-ahli pengakap berseronok dan meninjau lebih mendalam alam sekitar.

Karnival - Pertandingan Kemahiran Pengakap Peringkat Negara

Karnival dan Pertandingan Kemahiran Pengakap Peringkat Negara dan WPKL - menghantar Empat Zon. Diadakan pada 31/7 - 2/8/09 - pendaftaran daridapa 8 mlm - 9.00 malam dan tamat pada 4.00 petang. Temapt di Taman Ehsan, Kepong - Zonice

Kanak2 - 8 orang, Muda - 8 orang & Remaja - 8 orang - Peserta harus berdaftar dan mempunyai banyak minat serta berbakat. (status negara)

1. Perhimpunan 100 tahun pengakap di Malaysia - pada 25/4/09 di stadium negara. (9.00 pagi ) Sila hadir untuk bersama-sama dengan ahli-ahli pengakap diseluruh negara.

2. Kem Pertolongan Cemas akan diadakan dari 1-5-2009 hingga 3-5-2009. Di PPMWPKL - Zonice Taman Eshsan, Kepong. Yuran Kem adalah RM100. Makanan akan disediakan pihak urusetia. Ambil perhatian juga bahawa jumlah peserta adalah terhad kepada 100 orang. Borang penyertaan akan diagihkan pada 4-4-2009. Untuk pendaftaran sebelum Kem, sila hubungi ASC Saudara Steven G. 1. Pendaftaran Kumpulan mesti dibuat sebelum 30 March 09 melalui internet (on line) kemudian serahkan satu copy kepada Pentadbir Pesuruhjaya Pengakap Daerah - Zon Sentul.

2. 100 tahun pengakap di Malaysia - satu perjumpaan akan diadakan di stadium negara pada 25/4/09 pada pukul 10.00 pagi. Zon Sentul hanya diberi 200 Penyertaan. Kita bersama Agong dan Perdana Menteri - Saya meminta semua kumpulan pengakap beri jawapan untuk penyertaan kepada Jeeva - 0163207889 atau Nizam - 0122649011.

3. Tauliah Pemimpin - mengisi borang dan serahkan kepada Encik Nizam - 0163207889.

Perarakan 100 Tahun Pengakap Di Malaysia

Salam Pengakap,
Adalah di maklumkan bahawa PPM akan menganjurkan Perhimpunan Raksaksa Sambutan 100 Tahun Kepengakapan di Malaysia pada tarikh dan tempat seperti berikut:

Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur

Untuk makluman semua, beberapa acara sambutan serta perhimpunan telah dirancang bersempena dengan sambutan 100 tahun Kepengakapan di Malaysia dan dijangkakan DYMM SPB Yang DiPertuan Agong akan turut mencemar duli. Juga YAB PM dan beberapa menteri akan turut hadir.. PPM akan menghimpunkan seramai 4110 dari seluruh negara untuk sama-sama Menyertai perhimpunan tersebut.PPM WPKL di kehendaki menurunkan paling kurang seramai 830 orang pemimpin Pengakap, Ahli Pengakap Muda, Ahli Pengakap Remaja dan Ahli Pengakap Kelana dan tidak terikat dengan bilangan ini agar kepadatan peyertaan dapat dilihat dalam perhimpunan raksaksa tersebut.Adalah diharapkan agar semua Pesuruhjaya Daerah, ASC Program dan ASC Pentadbiran dapat membuat persediaan awal.

Berikut adalah cadangan Pecahan perserta:Ibu Pejabat: Minima 30 orangZon Bangsar: Minima 200 orang, Zon Keramat: Minima 200 orang, Zon Pudu: Minima 200 orang, Zon Sentul: Minima 200 orang, Jumlah minima dari PPMWPKL: 830orang

Berbagai acara juga telah diatur, diantaranya upacara penyampaian Pingat Peringatan 100 Tahun dan acara-acara lain yang akan dimaklumkan kemdian disamping itu sijil 100 tahun dan cerderamata juga akan di keluarkan sebagai momento Perayaan 100 Tahun Kepengakapan di Malaysia.

Jangan terlepas peluang keemasan ini. Hebahkannya dari sekarang dan senarikan nama-nama dengan betul supaya mudah di cetak atas sijil kelak.

Jumpa disana - tolong memberi balas kehadiran kumpulan dan berapa ramai peserta.

Looking ahead to the Program Khas on 4-4-2009, we need the following equipment :
(a) Knife, parang, sharpen stone.
(b) saw and triangle sharpening file,
(c) axe (hand axe and falling axe),
(d) hurricane lamp
(e) pressure lamp
(f) manila ropes
(g) nylon rope
(h) whipping rope
(i) pulley
For second session
(i) rope for woggle making
(ii) the leaves for ketupat
(iii) rope for Bushman's Thong - I suggest rope in maroon colour and not yellow which is for King's Scout
(iv) Semaphore flags - I suggest stick and cloth be supplied and the scouts make the flags.

Adalah di maklumkan bahawa PPM akan menganjurkan Perhimpunan Raksaksa Sambutan 100 Tahun Kepengakapan di Malaysia pada tarikh dan tempat seperti berikut:

Tarikh: 25 April 2009 (Sabtu)
Masa: 10.00 pagi
Tempat: Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur

Untuk makluman semua, beberapa acara sambutan serta perhimpunan telah dirancang bersempena dengan sambutan 100 tahun Kepengakapan di Malaysia dan dijangkakan DYMM SPB Yang DiPertuan Agong akan turut mencemar duli. Juga YAB PM dan beberapa menteri akan turut hadir..

PPM akan menghimpunkan seramai 4110 dari seluruh negara untuk sama-sama Menyertai perhimpunan tersebut.

PPM WPKL di kehendaki menurunkan paling kurang seramai 830 orang pemimpin Pengakap, Ahli Pengakap Muda, Ahli Pengakap Remaja dan Ahli Pengakap Kelana dan tidak terikat dengan bilangan ini agar kepadatan peyertaan dapat dilihat dalam perhimpunan raksaksa tersebut.

Adalah diharapkan agar semua Pesuruhjaya Daerah, ASC Program dan ASC Pentadbiran dapat membuat persediaan awal. Berikut adalah cadangan Pecahan perserta:

Zon Keramat: Minima 200 orang

Berbagai acara juga telah diatur, diantaranya upacara penyampaian Pingat Peringatan 100 Tahun dan acara-acara lain yang akan dimaklumkan kemdian disamping itu sijil 100 tahun dan cerderamata juga akan di keluarkan sebagai momento Perayaan 100 Tahun Kepengakapan di Malaysia. Jangan terlepas peluang keemasan ini. Hebahkannya dari sekarang dan senarikan nama-nama dengan betul supaya mudah di cetak atas sijil kelak.

• Terlebih dahulu saya ingin mengucapkan tahniah keran saudara-saudara sekalian telah terpilih untuk menjadi Pesuruhjaya Daerah yang baru bagi PPMWPKL.Oleh kerana pegerakan pengakap adalah berasaskan sekolah maka adalah wajar PPMWPKL mengikut Zon-Zon yang telah ditetapkan oleh Jabatan Pendidikan Wilayah Persekutuan. Ini akan memudahkan pentadbiran kumpulan-kumpulan Pengakap bergerak mengikut Zon-Zon masing-masing.Jawatan-Jawatan baru saudara-saudara adalah seperti

1. Pen Pesuruhjaya Negeri (Pentadbiran) di kehendaki:

• a. Mengeluarkan surat perlantikan PD-PD baru.
• b. Mengeluarkan surat Pembatalan Tauliah PD-PD yang Lama.
• c. Memohon Tauliah Baru bagi keempat-empat PD-Pd yang Baru.
• d. Membuat surat perkeliling bagi semua sekolah diKuala Lumpur termasuk semua Jabatan dan PPD bagi mengumumkan jawatan-jawatan Penting dan cara berhubung bagi PN, PPN (Pentadbiran), PD-PD PPMWPKL.
• e. Mengesa PD-PD Baru Mendaftarkan Daerah baru dan mohon batalkan daerah lama dengan Ibu pejabat PPM.
• f. Mengujudkan buku daftar bagi Daerah (Untuk PPD), Kumpulan, Pemimpin. Buku ini hendaklah mengadungi data-data yang lengakap.

2. PD-PD baru dikehendaki melaksanakan perkara berikut:

• a. Mendaftar Daerah baru Masing-Masing. Alamat surat meyurat hendaklah di Ibu pejabat Negeri.
• b. Melantik PPD(Jabatan Pendidikan) sebagai Pesuruhjaya Kehormat.
• c. Menubuhkan Majlis Pengakap Daerah yang terdiri yang di pilih iaitu seorang YDP, Seorang Pengerusi, Seorang Bendahari, seorang Setiausaha, PD daerah itu sendiri dan tiga orang PPD yang dilantik oleh PD setelah mendapat kelulusan PN. PPD(Jabatan Pendidikan) boleh di lantik sebagai Pengerusi atau timbalan pengerusi. Mereka yang di pilih hendaklah mendapat kelulusan PN sebelem Sijil atau surat perlatikan akan di keluarkan.
• d. Semua PD-PD baru di kehendaki berhubung dengan PD-PD yang lama di mana kawasan/daerah berkenaan bertindih dan memohon mereka samaada masih berminat untuk berkhidmat dibawah PD-PD yang baru. Setiap Daerah hendak lah mempunyai sekurang-kurangnya 3 orang PPD dari sekolah Menengah dan 3 orang PPD dari sekolah rendah. Semua PPD yang baru hendaklah di majukan kepada PN melalui PPN Pentadbiran untuk kelulusan terlebihdahulu. Satu sesi temuduga pelantikan akan diadakan. Pastikan semua Pemimpin mendapat tauliah.
• e. Setiap PD juaga dikehendaki memberi jawatan tambahan kepada PPDnya darihal Pentadbiran, Latihan dan Program.
• f.Menyusun semula nombor-nombor kumpulan mengikut siri yang asal bagi Kuala Lumpur dan tidak lagi mengikut daerah. Semua sekolah-sekolah yang baru selepas antara 1974-1980 hingga kini akan di beri nomborkumpulan yang baru dan akan di koordinasikan oleh PPN Pentadbiran. Bagi Lencana Bahu, mulai dari sekarang, hanya mengunakan Perkataan Kuala Lumpur dan Nombor kumpulan sahaja, nama daerah tidak di gunakan lagi. Satu pentanda khas yang akan digunakan akan di beritahu kelak.
• g. Setiap PD-PD hendaklah membaca semula Visi, Misi dan Strategi PPMWPKL dan ujudkan Objektif-objektif bagi melaksanakannya mengikut tahun 2009, 2010, 2011 dan 2012.
• h.Pastikan semua kumpulan dibawah daerah masing di daftarkan mengikut arahan terkini (online)i. Dari masa ke semasa PN akan mengarah PPN tertentu untuk berurusan secara terus dengan PD-PD.j. PD-PD mempunyai Pejabat dan Meja di Ibu Pejabat Negeri. Gunakan Pejabat ini dengan sepenuhnya.

Sila Laksanakan Tugas-tugas ini dengan seberapa segera. Lebih banyak tugas-tugas lain akan menyusul.

Registration of Group & Fast Track to Get Ready for King Scout 2009

Hi, Dear Scout Masters, Brothers and Sisters scout,

1. I would like reiterate that all groups ans school movement must register their group by sending the soft copy of the forms as per the earlier write up. Guidelines been attached for the easy understanding as per advised to refer the daftarscout.com Those failed to register will consider as illegal movement and we have POR to be refer the consequences.

2. We have one interesting focus on KING SCOUT for 2009. WPKL have full support to have fast track to be prepared and get ready for the King Scout. Young people in form 4 and 5 are only allowed to be involved and this program only for this year. Please do not waste this opportunity. Please refer to http://programkhaspengakapraja.blogspot.com/

3. Please be informed, reason meeting - introduce Zone System to ease the operation to manage the district. Previously there was 11 district and now change to be 4 Zone, which will be Bangsar, Pudu, Keramat, Sentul.

4. Zone Sentul will be most of the Segambut school, Kepong, Batu, 3 to 4 schools of Wangsa Maju and Setia Wangsa. This change is a need to ease the operation of school to manage by zone. We will update further development soon.

5. Rovers meeting last Sunday held in Kepong. Registration of the group must go through DC and State Commissioner after interview with the leaders of the every group. We would like to have the groups leaders and committee to submit the info and arrange for a meeting with DC and SC to approve the registration.

Please look into our focus to support young people development in scout and be meaningful for them in scouting.

Program Khas Ke Arah Pengakap Raja Sesi 2009 dijangkakan untuk bermula pada 7-2-2009 supaya peserta-peserta sempat siap lencana-lencana berkenaan untuk Perkhemahan Pentarafan Pengakap Raja pada bulan November / Disember 2009.

Mesyuarat Khas 1/09 untuk Program Khas Ke Arah Pengakap Raja Sesi 2009 akan diadakan seperti berikut :

The Scoutmaster's Duty

Success in training the boy largely depends upon the Scoutmaster's own personal example. It is easy to become the hero as well as the elder brother of the boy. We are apt, as we grow up, to forget what a store of hero worship is in the boy. The Scoutmaster who is a hero to his boys holds a powerful lever to their development, but at the same time brings a great responsibility on himself. They are quick enough to see the smallest characteristic about him, whether it be a virtue or a vice. His mannerisms become theirs, the amount of courtesy he shows, his irritations, his sunny happiness, or his impatient glower, his willing self-discipline or his occasional moral lapses all are not only noticed, but adopted by his followers.
Therefore, to get them to carry out the Scout Law and all that underlies it, the Scoutmaster himself should scrupulously carry out its professions in every detail of his life. With scarcely a word of instruction his boys will follow him. The Scoutmaster's job is like golf, or scything, or °y-¯shing. If you \press" you don't get there, at least not with anything like the extent you do by a light-hearted e®ortless swing. But you have got to swing. It's no use standing still. It is one thing or the other, either progress or relaxes. Let us progress and with a smile on.

Loyalty to the Movement
Let the Scoutmaster remember that in addition to his duty to his boys he has a duty also to the Movement as a whole. Our aim in making boys into good citizens is partly for the bene¯t of the country, that it may have a virile trusty race of citizens whose amity and sense of \playing the game" will keep it united internally and at peace with its neighbors abroad. Charged with the duty of teaching self-abnegation and discipline by their own practice of it, Scoutmasters must necessarily be above petty personal feeling, and must be large-minded enough to subject their own personal views to the higher policy of the whole. Theirs is to teach their boys to \play the game," each in his place like bricks in a wall, by doing the same themselves. Each has his allotted sphere of work, and the better he devotes himself to that, the better his Scouts will respond to his training.
Then it is only by looking to the higher aims of the Movement, or to the e®ects of measures ten years hence that one can see details of today in their proper proportion. Where a man cannot conscientiously take the line required, his one manly course is to put it straight to his Commissioner or to Headquarters, and if we cannot meet his views, then to leave the work. He goes into it in the ¯rst place with his eyes open, and it is scarcely fair if afterwards, because he ¯nds the details do not suit him, he complains that it is the fault of the Executive. Fortunately, in our Movement, by decentralisation and giving a free hand to the local authorities, we avoid much of the red tape which has been the cause of irritation and complaint in so many other organisations. We are also fortunate in having a body of Scoutmasters who are large-minded in their outlook and in their loyalty to the Movement as a whole.

A Scoutmaster's Reward
A man dared to tell me once that he was the happiest man in the world! I had to tell him of one who was still happier: myself. You need not suppose that either of us in attaining this happiness had never had di±culties to contend with. Just the opposite. It is the satisfaction of having successfully faced di±culties and borne pin-pricks that gives completeness to the pleasure of having overcome them. Don't expect your life to be a bed of roses; there would be no fun in it if it were. So, in dealing with the Scouts, you are bound to meet with disappointments and setbacks. Be patient: more people ruin their work or careers through want of patience than do so through drink or other vices. You will have to bear patiently with irritating criticisms and red tape bonds to some extent but your reward will come. The satisfaction which comes of having tried to do one's duty at the cost of self-denial, and of having developed characters in the boys which will give them a di®erent status for life, brings such a reward as cannot well be set down in writing. The fact of having worked to prevent the recurrence of those evils which, if allowed to run on, would soon be rotting our youth, gives a man the solid comfort that he has done something, at any rate, for his country, however humble may be his position.
This is the spirit with which Scoutmasters and Commissioners, Committeemen,instructors, organisers and secretaries the word "Scouter" describes them allwork in the Boy Scout Movement. The credit for the Organisation and the spread of the Scout Movement is due to this army of voluntary workers. Here we have remarkable if silent evidence of the ¯ne patriotic spirit that lies beneath the surface of most nations. These men give up their time and energies, and in many cases their money as well, to the work of organising the training of boys, without any idea of reward or praise for what they are doing, they do it for the love of their country and their kind.

Robert Baden-Powell, Founder of the World Scout Movement, Chief Scout of the World

Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell (pronounced /ˈbeɪdən ˈpoʊəl/) OM, GCMG, GCVO, KCB (22 February 1857 – 8 January 1941), also known as B-P, was a lieutenant-general in the British Army, writer, and founder of the Scout Movement.

After having been educated at Charterhouse School, Baden-Powell served in the British Army from 1876 until 1910 in India and Africa. In 1899, during the Second Boer War in South Africa, Baden-Powell successfully defended the city in the Siege of Mafeking. Several of his military books, written for military reconnaissance and scout training in his African years, were also read by boys. Based on those earlier books, he wrote Scouting for Boys, published in 1908 by Pearson, for youth readership. During writing, he tested his ideas through a camping trip on Brownsea Island that began on 1 August 1907, which is now seen as the beginning of Scouting.

After his marriage with Olave St Clair Soames, Baden-Powell, his sister Agnes Baden-Powell and notably his wife actively gave guidance to the Scouting Movement and the Girl Guides Movement. Baden-Powell lived his last years in Nyeri, Kenya, where he died in 1941.

In scout, we build character from young age till the end. Once scout always a scout. We follow the scout promise and 10 laws of scout.

Petrol system which teach us to work as a team to achieve in the global. Parents guide the children and adult guide the young people. System of petrol will teach everyone work as team to a better result.

The way of scouting will ensure you to choose the right path in your life. I said this with my own experience, non formal education which gives me all guldens to lift up my personal development to be a better leader.

I strongly believe, the way of scouting will give everyone a very useful knowledge for the young people.
